We are active members of the Slow Food USA Chef Alliance; we grow, preserve, and celebrate eating foods on the Ark of Taste preservation list.  Our Heirloom Preservation Growing Project sits high on a bluff with a panoramic view of the magnificent lush valley and natural forest below -- boasting plentiful wild native edible plants, fruits, berries, and nuts.

We are passionate farmers, foragers, and farm-to- table eaters. We grow a broad variety of heirloom vegetables reminiscent of our past, herbs, edible flowers, and vegetables suitable for growing in Missouri’s home gardens. We honor the connection between our region, the farmer, and how sustainable food is grown, harvested, and consumed.      Our "Feast in the Forest Teaching Kitchen" offers seasonal cooking workshops.
